Accutek Electronics
Project
Accutek Electronics was looking to enhance the appearance of its facility by repainting the exterior of the building and its corrugated metal roofing. The goal was to boost curb appeal while providing long-lasting protection against the elements, all without disrupting regular business operations. The color palette included Mindful Gray (SW 7016) for the CMU substrates and a custom maroon for the corrugated roof.
Process
The project began with an initial site assessment in 2024 to evaluate conditions and scope. As the client decided to delay the project start, a second evaluation was completed in September 2025 prior to kickoff.
For the CMU surfaces, Sherwin-Williams A-100 Exterior Acrylic Latex was selected due to its excellent coverage and color retention. For the roofing, Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Sher-Cryl High Performance Acrylic was chosen to resist humidity, corrosion, and rust—ideal for long-term durability on corrugated metal.
Work began by masking all doors and windows to prevent overspray. All exterior surfaces were power washed, and fresh caulk was applied to the CMU where needed. Spot priming was performed using Sherwin-Williams Loxon Masonry Primer for the CMU and Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Primer for the roofing. Two coats of finish paint were applied to all areas.
The project team conducted a thorough walkthrough before work began to ensure alignment on scope and logistics. Upon completion, a final Pride Walk was completed with the customer, CertaPro’s Job Site Supervisor, and the Project Manager to confirm satisfaction.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges was ensuring that daily business operations were not interrupted. To avoid disruptions to staff and customers, the crew started work on high-traffic areas early in the day—prior to regular business hours.
Result
The project was completed on schedule with no impact on daily operations. The newly painted exterior significantly improved Accutek Electronics’ curb appeal, while the corrugated roofing is now protected from future weathering. The client expressed strong satisfaction with both the visual outcome and the professionalism of the team.
Roof repairs and fresh paint were absolutely needed, and the paint looks fresh.
