Born in Bathurst, Armel got his first taste of the painting business at a young age when he operated a College Pro Painters franchise while attending Universite de Moncton. After obtaining his business degree, he was recruited for the position of General Manager of College Pro Painters for the Maritime Provinces. It seemed only fitting when in 1997, Armel decided to purchase a CertaPro Painters franchise and put down roots in the beautiful city of Halifax. The CertaPro family has grown over the years and they have won numerous awards (Canadian franchisee of the year on several occasions), which showcases their commitment and dedication to the profession and commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Aside from his professional life, Armel lives a healthy and active lifestyle, which he shares with his wife and their very spoiled, rescued dog Karter (the Kelpie). Armel especially loves to travel and play golf!
