When should I paint my commercial space?

Depending on the use of your property, there are many different factors that contribute to the best timing for painting. If your space has traffic/use areas, you may choose to do maintenance painting every year to continue to have the nice fresh appearance that your customers have come to expect. On the other hand, maybe your company is refreshing the image of the business, which is considered non-routine painting. Overall, we suggest that most interior commercial spaces should be repainted every 3-5 years. For exterior spaces, we recommend painting every 6-10 years, with regular maintenance on the exterior of your building to increase the overall life span exponentially

What happens when I ask for an estimate for painting services?

When requesting an estimate for painting services with CertaPro Painters® of Nova Scotia, you are immediately scheduled with a commercial estimator who will meet with you at your convenience to review the project thoroughly. The estimator will then measure, document and calculate. A fully detailed estimate will be provided to you as soon as possible – in most cases, this occurs on the same day depending on the size and nature of your project.

How long after the estimate does painting begin?

Once the proposal has been accepted, CertaPro Painters® of Nova Scotia will schedule the project with you based on your needs. In the case of exterior work, weather always becomes a factor.

How do I prepare for painting once I have signed the contract?

At the time of the estimate, the estimator will discuss the parameters of the project thoroughly with you, discuss the process that will occur, and what you need to do to be ready. The project proposal will include written details of all these items so that you can review and be properly prepared.
