Please be aware that weather conditions or changes to prior projects can sometimes shift your scheduled start date.
If your project timeline changes, the CertaPro Painters® of Northeast Georgia team will notify you promptly to keep you informed and prepared.
Preparing for Your Interior Painting Project
To help ensure efficiency, safety, and a smooth project experience, please complete the following before our team arrives:
Items on Walls: Please disconnect and remove wall-mounted televisions and any electronics with more than a single power cord connection. Take down all pictures and paintings, leaving nails/hooks only if you plan to reuse them in the same place. Remove nails/hooks you will no longer need.
Items to Be Covered/Removed: Remove all small and fragile items. Please empty closets, cabinets, and bookshelves in any areas scheduled for painting.
Window Treatments: Take down all window treatments. If brackets will not be reused and you wish to have holes filled, please remove brackets as well.
Pets: Plan to keep pets away from the work area. If you have special instructions regarding gates, latches, or doors related to pets, please inform your Job Site Supervisor upon arrival.
Property Access: Ensure all areas within the scope of work are accessible. Please unlock gates and provide necessary codes for locks or lockboxes.
Parking: Let us know in advance if your neighborhood has parking restrictions. For city buildings with limited parking, please recommend the best location for our team.
Assistance: If you are unable to complete these preparations, contact us. We are happy to help, though additional charges may apply.
CERTAPRO PAINTERS WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
We will move large interior furniture (such as sofas, tables, and beds) into the center of the room or to a clear area away from the work zone. Some weight restrictions may apply.
All furniture and flooring near the work area will be covered with plastic sheeting and/or painter’s drop cloths for protection.
We will return any furniture we move to its original location once the project is completed.
We will remove and reinstall switch plates and outlet covers during your painting project.
We will remove all trash, leftover materials, and empty paint cans from your property and dispose of them properly.
Any leftover cans of paint will be marked and left for you for future reference and touch-ups as needed.
Final walkthrough to be performed by a Job Site Supervisor, who will handle collecting final payment, touch ups, and any other on site needs
***We will NOT remove or install wall mounted TVs or other installed electronics ***
WALKTHROUGH AND PROJECT COMMUNICATION
To ensure you are fully satisfied with your completed painting project, your on-site Job Site Supervisor will be available to answer any questions throughout the process and will walk through the job with you once the work is complete. You are not expected to make payment until this walkthrough has been conducted. Our Supervisor’s goal is to showcase the exceptional quality of work the crew has completed, allowing you to take pride in your freshly painted home.
The Job Site Supervisor or our Service Manager will inform you of the expected day and time for project completion.
The Job Site Supervisor will walk through the project with you to ensure your satisfaction with the work. The Supervisor will serve as your primary point of contact during the project, and you may also reach out to our Service Manager if you need additional assistance.
After the walkthrough is completed, please sign our copy of the job proposal, and provide your payment to the Job Site Supervisor.
Please plan to be available to meet with the Job Site Supervisor for this important walkthrough to ensure a smooth, confident project closeout.
