In January of 2023, CertaPro Painters was contacted by a homeowner in New Braunfels to walk through the property and provide a free estimate on resolving the wear and tear the property had experienced over the years. The home was originally built in the 1970s and hadn’t been renovated or revamped in decades. CHALLENGES:
The size of this property required ladders as well as a thorough estimate process to identify all trouble spots in need of fixing.
The age of the property required measured prudence in enacting repairs and general maintenance.

CONDITIONS:
Dirt Buildup – As you may have noticed in the slider above, dirt buildup coated the exterior walls.
Rotted Wood – Wood rot has to be dealt with promptly before it spreads.
Dated Color Scheme – Beige may have been popular in the 70s, but not anymore!
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Preparations – A free color consultation is complimentary with every estimate.
Power Washing – Removing all the dirt and external debris was the first priority
Wood Repairs – Wood repairs and replacement were necessary to deal with this project.
Batten Installation – We installed battens along the front and sides of home at 16 inch centers
Prime & Paint – We primed all of the brick surfaces including planter boxes before finally painting. In total this project involved carpentry, batten installation, and special masonry primer for the brick surfaces.
