Exterior Brick Painting Project with Romabio

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
After recently purchasing the home, the client wanted to update the exterior with a modern finish. We collaborated with the client to choose the best paint for their home: Romabio Flat.
CHALLENGES
The primary challenge was working with the specialty paint Romabio Flat, a unique paint with specific mixing requirements. Our painters had to take extra care in mixing and applying the paint to get proper coverage. When done correctly, this mineral-based paint works especially well on masonry, allowing the home to breathe naturally with the changing temperatures of the Texas climate. It is more cost-effective and healthy for the home compared to the standard method of priming and painting with acrylic paint, which locks moisture into the brick.

The project was completed over 20 days in March of 2024.
