Mark Potts is the franchise owner of CertaPro Painters® of Missouri City.
After working in the oil and gas business for 20 years in downtown Houston, Mark Potts was ready for a change. He purchased CertaPro Painters® of Missouri City in November 2019 and works in all aspects of the business. He enjoys personal relationships with his clients, staff and crews.
Mark and his wife Amy appreciate the dedication to certainty of CertaPro Painters®. After rebuilding their home after Hurricane Harvey, they strongly appreciate the CertaPro® standard of presenting a set price for the job (not an estimate with surprises at the end) and reliability of jobs being completed on time.
A Midwest native, Mark got to Texas as fast as he could. He is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati and earned his MBA at St. Thomas University in Houston.
Mark’s weekends are dedicated to spending time with his son Rees who attends Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin during the week. In the spring, this includes coaching Rees’ Challenger Baseball team. Mark also serves as treasurer for the Deaf-Blind Multi-Handicapped Association of Texas and is a City of Houston Commissioner with the Commission on Disabilities.
