Corrugated Metal Building
Case Study
Corrugated Metal Building
CertaPro Painters of Missouri City was called to paint a metal building in the East Side of Houston, TX. The building is a corrugated metal that was dirty and showed peeling paint in select areas. The team painted prepared the building by pressure washing the structure. To follow up, the bare or pealing areas were sanded and primed with Pro-Industrial Pro-Cryl primer. We chose Pro-Cryl because it has rust-inhibitive properties and is designed for steel, galvanized products, and aluminum. Lastly, The structure was painted with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint with a satin sheen. We chose to use satin because dirt does not adhere to the surface as compared to flat paint. The sheen in satin paint provides a mirror-like surface profile.
