Fort Bend County Sound Barrier Walls

In July of 2024, our crew was hired to repaint the sound barrier walls of Fort Bend County. The substrate was baked by the sun and needed a fresh coat of paint for both protection and appearance.

Over the next 20 days, our crew would be challenged by a hurricane, a derecho, and generally extreme weather that ran through the area. Work had to stop during these times, but we minimized the delay by following our streamlined process for both application and cleanup each day, ensuring no equipment was damaged. The crew also endured bees and mosquitos throughout the project, creating additional difficulty.

The surface was pressure-washed to clean any dirt or residue and prepare the surface for paint. Our crews used a gas-powered spraying system and rollers to efficiently coat the rough surface. The end result is a clean and professional look that will protect the walls from extreme weather and erosion for many years going forward!
