Mark Potts of CertaPro Painters of Missouri City, TX Throws Astros Game First Pitch

On July 23, 2021 the Astros played the Texas Rangers in the Silver Boot Series. CertaPro Painters is a partner with the Astros and sponsored a sign on the first base side of Minute Maid Park. Mark Potts, the owner of the Missouri City, TX franchise, was invited to throw out the first pitch and represent the Houston Co-Op.
Local celebrity, Mattress Mac – nationally known for his promotions related to the Astros and the World Series, attended the event as well. He also opens up this business and deploys his moving trucks to pick up people affected by hurricanes and natural disasters. His World Series promotion: “If Houston wins the series, any Gallery Furniture customer who bought a new mattress for at least $3,000 before the beginning of game one will have the costs covered by owner Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale.”
Going forward, CertaPro Painters will be taking over the strikeout counter/K-counter and every time the Astros strike out the opposing team a graphic on the scoreboards will say the strikeout was brought to you by CertaPro Painters.
