Interior Color Change Project
In October 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Maine undertook an interior color change project for a home in Casco, Maine. The homeowner wanted to change from some darker, bold colors to some lighter tones that allowed more light to flood the common areas, creating a more welcoming atmosphere. The project involved standard preparations, including thorough cleaning and sanding of surfaces, priming, and applying fresh coats of paint. Our team utilized ladders and staging in the stairwell to safely access out of reach areas.
One of the key challenges of this project was completely concealing the previous bold colors on the walls. To ensure this, our skilled team applied a specialized blocking primer that effectively prevented any bleeding of the old colors.
This project was completed in 3 days. The color change transformed the space from dark and dim to bright and lively. See the before and after photos below!
