Exterior Painting Project

In August 2022, a family in Lebanon, Maine hired us to brighten up the exterior of their home. The house had not been painted in 20 years and the old coat of stain on the home was fading very bad. CertaPro Painters of Maine was up for the challenge and worked hard to make sure the customer got a fresh coat with a new color on the siding. For this project, we were required to use pressure washing, masking, scraping, sanding, and spraying. Our team worked with the elements around them by using a pressure washer to wash, scrape, and sand all siding, trim, and decking on the house and garage. The clapboards on the house were in rough shape due to constant exposure to the sun and wind. Some clapboards needed to be replaced and others needed to be sanded so that the stain could penetrate the wood fibers.

Over the course of a week, we refreshed this home and made it shine! We went from gray exterior walls to a stunning dark blue color. Another delighted customer! See the transformation below.
