Exterior Painting Project

In April 2023, a customer in Cumberland, Maine hired us to fix the exterior of their home. This house was in solid shape at the beginning of the project, but the customer did not like the current color of the paint on the house and wanted to change it. With a color change this drastic, two coats is always required to get the new color to properly cover the old and making sure there is no bleed through of the previous coating is always key to successful end results. Our team was up for the challenge even though there were some higher areas on this project that required the use of ladders and ladder hooks to get at the gable ends of the home properly. This project involved a pressure wash to remove dirt, mold, and mildew. Some light scraping, sanding, masking, and then multiple coats of stain and paint were needed to change the color.
