CertaPro Painters® of Maine had the pleasure of partnering with the Knickerbocker Group to repair a water-damaged ceiling in the master bathroom of a client’s home in Freeport. This project required precision and attention to detail to restore the ceiling to its original, flawless condition.

Our team began by carefully assessing the extent of the water damage to ensure all compromised areas were addressed. They then skillfully scraped away the damaged sections and applied a skim coat to create a smooth and uniform surface. The crew took special care to blend the repaired area seamlessly into the surrounding drywall, ensuring an invisible transition that matched the rest of the ceiling perfectly.

Once the surface was prepared and smoothed, we applied a coat of Benjamin Moore’s Fresh Start Primer. This primer not only provided an excellent base for the paint but also enhanced the durability and longevity of the finish. To complete the job, we applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Waterborne Ceiling Paint, selected for its high-quality, even coverage, and crisp, clean appearance.

The result was a beautifully restored ceiling that blended seamlessly with the rest of the space, leaving no trace of the previous damage.
