Chimney, Pillars, Trim, and Upper Deck Restoration Project

This past summer, in August 2023, CertaPro Painters® of Louisville Metro was hired by a family in Louisville to restore the exterior of their beloved family home. On the inside, this served as a gathering place for family and friends, but the outside had seen better days. The exterior was badly weathered, including parts of the trim, pillars, upper deck, and the chimney. The damage included chipped paint, cracking, and discoloration.

Prior to applying fresh paint, our team power-washed the exterior to wash away dirt and any debris. Once the surface was clean, our team got to work on the roof, restoring the trim, pillars, upper deck, and chimney to its glory. We applied special paint to the trim to ensure a long-lasting finish and we used special brushes for maximum coverage. The extreme heat provided some challenges for our crew but we were able to complete the project in three days.
