Brick Exterior Restoration Project

During the end of July, CertaPro Painters of Louisville Metro was hired by a family in Louisville to fix the exterior of their home. Before starting the project, the brick was weathered and faded. There was peeling paint in various spots of the trim as well as dirt and grime built up from over time.

Over the course of five days, we spot-primed bare wood and metals in areas being painted despite the intense heat and working on 30-foot ladders. We did window glazing and puttying and filled in wood with a caulk gun wherever it was needed. Our team painted the soffit, siding or raw brick, fascia, downspout, gutters, window frames, and door frames. In the end, our team painted the raw brick with Pure White and used Tricorn Black to paint the gutters along with the door/window frames.
