5 Steps to Start your Morning Right

1. Take 10 minutes for yourself without technology. Use this time to reflect, read, meditate, or practice yoga. This time will help to stimulate your brain and center yourself.
2. Drink a glass of water, lemon water, or herbal tea to hydrate your body and get your metabolism going.
3. Eat a hearty breakfast that’s high in protein and low in sugar. While the sugar will get you off to a energetic start, after a couple hours your body will crash from the sugar high.
4. Prepare in the evening for the next morning. Pack lunches and set out outfits for the next day this way you can avoid the frustration and feel more organized.
5. Open the blinds and play music as you get ready. The natural light will wake up your brain and help sync your biological clock. The music can help get you in the right mentality for the day
