Exterior Home Renovation Case Study in Louisville, KY

In May and June 2024, we were asked to repair the exterior of a home in Louisville. Before our team started, the exterior of the house was blue, with a yellowed trim, and the metal storm frames were faded and weathered from over the years. Paint was chipping away and sun faded all around.

This project involved painting all around the house, as well as the trim and storm frames. Our team had to paint over everything including the gutters and soffits. The concrete porch was painted as well and the crew filled in any cracks and gaps with Caulk on any surface being
painted. We also scraped loose and peeling paint and washed the surface. This was done all in preparation for the new layer of paint being applied. It was difficult to work in the elements, use tall ladders, and working on this project around 4th of July week, but CertaPro Painters of Greater Metro Louisville still maintained excellence with their end results and worked around special challenges.

In 11 days, we renovated the home and made it even more exquisite. Aside from using 40ft ladders and power washers, the siding was painted in Wood Violet, 6557. The Trim is Blonde SW6128 and Metal storm frames are refreshed with Dark Clove, 9183. The customer was overjoyed! See the transformation below.
