How to Remodel an Outdated Kitchen (Video)
Posted on February 9, 2018
So you recently remodeled your kitchen but kept the old cabinets, now what? Well, rather than ripping them down and putting a new set of kitchen cabinets up, consider a fresh coat of paint and some new hardware. The video below features a recently remodeled kitchen that was done by CertaPro Painters of Louisville. Keeping the client’s budget in mind, we opted to keep the current cabinets in tact, rather than tearing them down. Our expert staff sanded down the current fixtures, gave them a thorough cleaning, applied a coat of primer and two coats of acrylic paint, and finished the project with brand new hardware.
The full kitchen project included:
- Removal of Formica counter top and replaced it with a butcher block top.
- Installed a new glass tile backslash.
- Painted the walls a deep blue.
- Painted all the trim, doors, wainscoting and cabinets with a White Diamond Paint from Benjamin Moore.
Remodeling a kitchen doesn’t always require a total overhaul. In fact, sometimes a fresh coat of paint and a batch of new handles and knobs is all you need. Contact the kitchen painting experts at CertaPro Painters of Louisville to schedule your free painting estimate!
