If you’re getting ready to start thinking about a painting project, you probably have a lot of questions. Below are some of the most common questions we get from customers.
Do you have a project minimum? Generally $500, or two rooms.
Is there anything that can change the cost of a project after a customer receives a quote? Unforeseen complications, like carpentry work. We estimate from the ground so a lot of things can pop up. An additional coat may be required, but we try to communicate with the customer about that and let them make the decision.
How much paint do you need to paint a home? Older home that hasn’t been painted in a while going to be thirsty. Most average sized interior rooms will need a couple gallons of paint.
When is the best time to paint? We paint all year round, but most paints are formulated for 35 degrees. So we’ll paint anywhere from 45 to 90 degrees
How often should people paint their homes? A good paint job last 7-10 years.
How long does it take to paint a home? Our average job takes 1 week.
How will my project be managed? Every project has a Job Site Supervisor that manages the crew and job. You can also stay in touch with our Office Admin.
Is there a warranty? Yes, 2 years
Can the painters work alone in my house? Yes, as long as the customer is comfortable with it.
How many paint colors are included in your typical proposal? Typically 3: wall, trim and ceiling.
What type of paint do you use? We use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, unless the customer has a specific request
Is there anything the homeowner should do to prep for your crew to arrive? Clear off the deck, move things around the house, such as kids’ toys, etc. Trim the shrubs so they have clearance to access
What is your clean up process? We clean up daily, and while we’re painting try to put everything in one spot, so people can still move around if they have to.
