 Corinth Square Retail Shopping Center

Project: This Retail Center in Prairie Village, KS was in need of power washing and staining on all of the exterior woodwork. There was a lot of cedar wood trim, columns, pergolas, and walls to complete for this project. This shopping center is very busy, so our team had to adhere to a strict schedule in order to minimize any disruptions.

Process: Because of the surfaces being weathered the CertaPro crew had to thoroughly wash the surfaces so they were prepped and ready for staining. The job required a 45’ boom lift in order to reach specific areas.

Due to the heavy foot traffic, our commercial painting team worked early in the morning and late at night when things were shut down to power wash the center. During store hours, the team was able to complete staining on woodwork in certain locations that were low impact. For one particular major grocery store located in the shopping center, the team had access to one entrance and exit during the day. To help minimize disruptions and allow the store to remain open, a plastic tunnel was built so the team could continue to work.
