International Code Council Commercial Painting Project

Problem To Be Solved:

International Code Council is a nonprofit association that provides a wide range of building safety solutions including product evaluation, accreditation, certification, codification and training located in Country Club Hills, IL needed to have the majority of their office interior painted as well as all stairwells and bathrooms. There were areas that needed wallpaper removed, painting all the subway tile and bathroom stall doors (in the shared restrooms). Being a company that has roughly 100 employees in the building at all points in time, the building needed to be painted during business hours with minimal interruption as possible.

Problem Solver Solution:

CertaPro of Homewood and Kankakee County sent a small painting crew to paint the entire project. Our Crew formulated a plan of area by area being completed and communicated with the Director of Office Operations and Maintenance Manager to ensure that all areas being worked in the employees working in those areas had plenty of notice and could make the proper adjustments while work was being done in their area.

Final Result:

The project was a big success. It was completed in full on time and on budget, with the Director of Office Operations leaving us a google review stating “I had my entire office complex painted by CertaPro. From the first phone call to the last day of painting, they were extremely professional, courteous, quick and respectful. I have 100 people inside the building and most of the time you could not tell there were painters n the building. They were fast and efficient, we were all amazed at the process. I would hire them 100 more times if I could.”
