CertaPro Painters® of Fort Collins was contacted in Summer 2021 to paint the interior of this medical facility and offices inside of a hospital. The project was several thousands of square feet and included offices, procedure rooms, waiting rooms, and exam rooms. The professionals at CertaPro Painters® happily took on the project.
Our team of professionals worked off-hours and weekends to complete the project in an operating medical facility without interrupting the functionality of the space. The building remained open and operating throughout the project. This required our team to work with the facility to create a very detailed pre-project plan so that all parties could prepare and execute the work in the various areas and stages needed to cause little-to-no disruption to the staff and patients.

CHALLENGES:Projects of this magnitude can present their own set of issues. The right materials, equipment, and skills are necessary to make sure the job is completed effectively. Additionally, certain standards and materials were needed due to the highly sensitive space that was being painted.
Condition of Building:
- Many of the rooms were worn and showed from years of use without touchup painting completed. With daily wheelchair traffic, there were signs on every wall of scuffs and scrapes from patients, furniture, etc.
- Minor drywall patching and repairs. Extensive and meticulous masking to protect very expensive medical equipment.
Materials Used:
- Our painters used high grade, scuff-resistant paint to prevent the need for frequent touchups. We also ulso used no-VOC and antimicrobial paint in procedure/surgery rooms.
