Residential Case Study
Dining Room Makeover
Residential Interior Painting Project
Our client’s formal dining room was in a need of a makeover. The homeowner felt this space was not useful in its current state. There was an opening to the stairwell and felt very formal. The homeowner was hoping to modernize the space and to use it as an office. Mandi Cooper was able to offer some guidance on the project.
The project included:
• Removal of the banister in this open space.
• Removal of the wood from the bottom of the spindles so it is flush with the wall.
• Frame the space and hang drywall.
• Tape, float and texture the new areas in stairwell and office.
• Prime these new areas.
• Removal of the crown molding around the room.
• Paint the walls and ceiling in the office.
Together we were able to achieve the end result the client was looking for, all within 3 days! The client was very happy with the outcome, and we were more than happy to assist.
