In August 2019, CertaPro Painters® of Central Fort Bend, TX was contacted to help with the rejuvenation efforts of the Twin Lakes Clubhouse in Cypress. The following week, CertaPros team of professionals began work on the project. Faded paint and small repairs were necessary to bring Twin Lakes back to life.
CertaPro Paintersreg; worked with the board of directors to choose colors that would genuinely enhance the property. With the fading and failing paint, a proper color choice was of utmost importance. During operations, the Production Manager would check in to ensure customer satisfaction with CertaPro’s product.
Challenges at Twin Lakes
The clubhouse at Twin Lakes had lost some of its notability due to the years of exposure that had faded the paint and caused damage to small sections. The Hardie board began to rot and the cedar board was damaged inside the gazebo, requiring some light carpentry repairs. The main focus for the rest of the project was to brighten up the muted tones of the fading exterior.
The operation required a repaint to the clubhouse, gazebo, decorative beams, and guard shack. The scale of the project created an array of hurdles where coordination among the team and communication with the building’s administration was paramount. Clearing these obstacles would allow for an efficiently completed job with a professional finish.
THE CLUBHOUSE BEFORE
Before the project began, CertaPro Painters® took pictures of the clubhouse to document the areas that required attention. It also provided a stark contrast to the completed work by the CertaPro crew.
Wearied Exterior
The exterior of the clubhouse was extremely worn due to years of exposure to the sun and weather.
Loss of Contrast
The painted areas lost its beautiful contrast with the brick due to the fading throughout the facility.
THE FINAL RESULT
CertaPro’s professionals gathered images of the completed work around the clubhouse. Multiple sections were renewed, bringing a bright, new feel to the property for patrons to enjoy.
Repainted Exterior
Twin Lakes received a large scale exterior repainting to breathe some life back into the clubhouse.
Renewed Overhang
The overhang was freshened up with a repainting for a stand out section to the property.
Revived Entryway
An entryway was rejuvenated by CertaPro's team to match the overall makeover efforts.
