Located right off of I-40 in Kodak, Tennessee behind the Smokies Stadium you will find the Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel. This luxury hotel three-story hotel has 87 rooms and one large meeting room.
Conditions at start of project:
Prior to our arrival in September 2021, this hotel had never been painted. It blended into the natural surroundings with its mild beige tones and dark beige accent banding.
Project Involvement:
For this project, we were contracted to paint all stucco/masonry substrates as well as, accent banding, entrance ceiling, columns & soffits. Prep work included: scraping all loose and peeling paint on the service man doors & frames. As well as, priming any bare metal with Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl Primer & patching all damaged stucco areas.
Special challenges:
We required two lifts to complete this project. One 80′ straight boom & one 60′ straight boom. We needed two lifts: One 60′ & 80′ Straight boom. We also used Sherwin Williams Rain Refresh. Rain Refresh is a product formulated so dirt washes away upon contact with rain or water for a clean, fresh look with minimal maintenance.
