Wood Kitchen Design Ideas

Posted on April 9, 2020

It’s not often that we are seeing wood kitchens. They have been replaced by a variety of different elements such as marble, stainless steel, linoleum, and even cork. However, as of recently, they are becoming more popular again and we are beginning to see it on many websites as 2020 kitchen inspiration. We love the look of wood in the kitchen, if you do too then keep on reading.

1. Modern/Minimalist

This is the perfect way to mix modern style in with wood. Black cabinetry and appliances mixed with light wood countertops is our favorite example of this look.

2. White and Light Wood

If you have an all-white kitchen theme, make your kitchen dining area wood. Whether you add in a wood table and bench or another form of seating that bests suits your kitchen. The light wood and white combined will make the
kitchen look very fresh and clean.

3. Sage Green and Wood

Sage green looks so lovely when paired with wood. It brings a very natural element into the home. We love this look when paired with black appliances, it adds the element of contrast into the kitchen.

4. White and Dark Wood

The contrast between the dark wood and white looks great in any kitchen. You can spice up this look by incorporating marble accents within the countertops or tiles.

5. Wood Kitchen Island

If you want your island to be the focal point of your kitchen, make it stand out by choosing a wood design.

6. Add wood accents

If you don’t want to commit to doing something drastic to your kitchen but still want to incorporate wood, do it in small ways. You can purchase wood utensils and put them on display.

7. Kitchen Cart/Bar Cart

This is a nice simple way to add in a wood accent. You can use it as a bar cart or just to organize your kitchen items such as spices.
