The project was an ambitious exterior overhaul of a residential home in Westerville, Ohio. The client aimed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of their home’s exterior. CertaPro Painters of Columbus, Ohio, was tasked with a comprehensive set of services: power washing, carpentry work for repair and replacement, stone sealing, along with meticulous painting and staining. The project’s scope aimed at not just a cosmetic uplift but ensuring the home’s exterior elements were protected and preserved.
Services Provided:
- Stucco Repair and Carpentry: The team addressed the deteriorating stucco on the home’s façade and replaced damaged back deck risers with high-quality PVC for enhanced durability.
- Stone Sealing: To protect the home’s beautiful stone accents, a specialized PPG masonry sealer was applied, safeguarding against water ingress and UV damage.
- Color Matching and Painting: Expert color matching techniques were employed to ensure the new paint on the stucco and wood trim flawlessly matched the existing colors, using premium PPG Acri Shield Mac for the stucco and PPG Permanizer for the wood trim.
- Front Door & Garage Door Wood Restoration: The wood surfaces were carefully prepared, stripped, and sanded. Then, two coats of oil stain followed by two coats of polyurethane for the front door, and PPG Sikkens Semi-Transparent Oil Stain for the garage doors were applied to rejuvenate their appearance and protect against future damage.
