This case study highlights the meticulous process of transforming a new house in Johnstown, Ohio, into a customized and visually stunning home. The project involved a combination of painting, carpentry, and design services to create a cohesive and personalized space for the homeowners.

Project Scope:

Initial Consultation and Estimation: The project began with an estimator visiting the customer’s house to provide a free quote for painting and trim ideas. This step involved understanding the customer’s needs and preferences while also suggesting additional enhancements like wainscoting and crown molding to add detail and character to the walls.

Color Consultation and Design Services: After the customers signed up with CertaPro, they were provided with a complimentary color consultant who collaborated with one of our designers. This consultation helped in selecting colors for each room, ensuring that the chosen palette complemented the overall aesthetic and added pops of color where desired.

Carpentry Installation: The project began with the installation of crown molding on the first floor and wainscoting in key areas such as the Dinette, Entry, Office, Sunroom, and Living Room. This carpentry work not only enhanced the visual appeal of the spaces but also added architectural interest and detail to the walls.

Painting Process: Once the carpentry work was completed, a crew was sent out to paint the house. The customers prepared the rooms by moving furniture to the center, allowing the paint crew to easily access and prep the areas for painting.

Execution of Bold Color Choices: The color consultant and designer recommended bold accent colors for certain rooms, such as the Office and Living Room, to infuse personality and vibrancy into the space. These bold choices added visual interest and created focal points within the rooms. Additionally, to further enhance the impact of the bold color selections, the consultant suggested painting the doors in a striking black hue, contrasted against the freshly painted white trim. This contrast not only added depth to the design but also emphasized the architectural details, making the doors stand out as statement pieces within the rooms.
