Description of Project:This large brick home was in need of a completely new look. The brick was still the original color with a light yellow trim and reddish/maroon accents- shutters, doors, etc.

Project Involvement: The project involved prep and exterior painting.

The prep work involved sanding and scraping any loose paint chips, caulking any previously caulked areas and pressure washing all areas to remove and dirt, debris or mildew. The brick required a special solution to prep the area in order to accept the paint. We removed and replaced the shutters prior and after painting.

Once prep work was complete we starting on the exterior painting. We painted the brick with a Loxon flat finish paint. We stained the deck with a solid color stain.

We needed to use a specific solution to wash the brick so they paint would adhere. We also had to be sure to use a lighter setting when pressure washing the deck.

Special Techniques: There were no special techniques or equipment needed for this project.
