Description of the Project:
This project took place at a large condo community composed of a mix of two and three-story buildings. The community’s 14 buildings were in desperate need of cleaning, with vinyl siding covered in a buildup of mildew, dirt, and debris.

Scope of Work: The project involved the soft washing of 14 condo buildings, including:

• Vinyl Siding
• Vinyl Ceilings
• Columns
• Soffits
• Gutters
• Downspouts

Process:

• Cleaner Application: A specific cleaner was applied to all surfaces that needed washing.
• Low-Pressure Rinsing: After the cleaner was applied, the surfaces were thoroughly rinsed with a low-pressure spray of water to ensure safe and effective cleaning.
• Hand Washing: Extremely dirty areas that weren’t fully cleaned by the low-pressure spray were hand washed using a soft bristle brush.
• Deck and Patio Rinsing: All decks and patios were lightly rinsed to remove any runoff debris resulting from the cleaning process.

Challenges: Soft washing is a meticulous process that involves a specific type of cleaner and a combination of hand washing and low-pressure spraying. This method ensures that the surfaces are thoroughly cleaned without any damage. The process is intricate and not offered by all contractors, highlighting the specialized skills of our team.

Special Equipment: We utilized a water trailer throughout the project to supply water for the soft washing process, ensuring consistent and efficient cleaning.

Outcome: The project was completed successfully within the two-week timeframe. The condo community’s buildings now have a refreshed and clean appearance, free from the buildup of mildew, dirt, and debris. The residents and property managers were highly satisfied with the results, noting the dramatic improvement in the overall look of the community.
