Community Condo Exterior Clean-Up in Cincinnati

About the Project:

Condition of Facility:

The three-building community was in need of a refresh. The previously painted green siding and white colored trim was faded in addition to the other areas of the buildings- gutters, downspouts, garage doors, etc.

Project Involvement:

The project involved power washing, prep work and exterior painting.

The prep work included power washing and hand cleaning all surfaces to be painted. We hand scraped any loose paint, spot primed all bare or rusty surfaces with appropriate primer, caulked all previously caulked open seams, cracks and voids. Once all prep was completed we moved on to the exterior painting.

We applied two finish coatings to all surfaces being painted. To get the same previously painted color, we color matched all surfaces.

The surfaces being painted included siding, fascia/trim, soffits, gutters/downspouts, front doors, garage doors and frames, porch posts, skylight frames, sidelights, and metal beams/posts.

Special Challenges:

With multiple surfaces, products, and colors for this project, we had to be precise and pay attention to the detail of the colors and products being applied to the different surfaces.
