Christ Hospital Outpatient Center Project in Wright, Kentucky
CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati was contracted in March 2021 to refresh the exterior of Christ Hospital Outpatient Center Project. The hospital is one of many clinics and buildings within Christ Hospital. This one is located in a larger space in a strip mall and has a drive thru awning in front.
This project has 3 areas of EIFS (exterior insulation and finish systems) that needed to be repaired and removed for plumbing repairs. One of the drive thru areas was also struck by a truck that did not fit. All EIFS damaged spots were unpainted.
Challenges
Because the repair areas were under the drive thru, CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati had to utilize cones, signs and other traffic indicators. We also worked flexible hours to minimize business interruption. At all hours of our work, it was essential to be mindful of the exiting and entering of clinic patients.
CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati also had to texture blend the new and old stucco so the patterns would match. We had to match the existing paint color once the repair was completed.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati cut clean holes around the damaged areas, removed old anchors, fastened stud work, and installed new gypsum board, foam board, and backer screen. The crew then applied the exterior stucco and repainting to match the existing color of the building.

The police station paint was a rust color and was showing signs of failure. In addition to repairs, the CertaPro Team was charged with changing the color
After Images
After just four days, the exterior of the outpatient clinic was repaired in such a fashion you couldn’t tell there was anything previously wrong with it.
