Time Takes A Toll
The buildings in the Arrowhead Apartments community had peeling, faded, and failing paint due to both weather and general breakdown over time. The balconies of many units had extensive wood rot and carpentry damage. There were visible replacement boards in some areas in an attempt to repair the area. Unfortunately, these areas stuck out because they were a different color from the building itself.

The exterior paint had begun to fade, and the damage done to the carpentry was becoming more noticeable over time.
Worthwhile Work
This project involved extensive carpentry repair and replacement of most, if not all, of the decks/balconies. Due to the extensive rot and wood damage, the carpentry work took the majority of the time on this project. Since many people live in the community, we had to keep note of the traffic and living spaces of the residents. After carpentry was completed the entire community was primed and painted a lighter gray tone as the main color with other accents with a darker gray.

There are now distinct sections on the exterior of the buildings, not only making them look more clean but also more modern.
