Sweptson Bridge Painted For Free
Posted on July 5, 2017
Jim and Sherrie Klepser, your local CertaPro franchise owners, were proud to be part of something beyond themselves last week by painting Englewood’s Emil R. Sweptson Bridge (Beach Road) free of charge for Charlotte County.
The project, which could have cost the county upwards of $4,000, was completed by a four-man painting crew over the course of 4 days. Chuck Koons, a project engineer for Charlotte County’s Public Works, mentioned that this was his first time seeing a company donate their time and resources to benefit the county as a whole – and he’s been doing this for 19 years!
CertaPro Painters are all about helping people and communities. Jim and Sherrie noticed the bridge needed work after passing over it and were more than happy to lend their crew and expert experience to complete the task.
CertaPro Painters of Central Southwest Florida has always been a charitable franchise, having donated to the Holy Trinity Luthern Church in Port Charlotte as well as the Hermitage House Artists Retreat on Manasota Key. Looking to the future, Jim and Sherrie hope to continue giving back to their community by making it beautiful, one paint job at a time.
