CertaPro Painters® of Castle Rock, CO was asked to complete an interior commercial painting project for a building of retailers in the Denver area. The walls had be subject to many repeated bumps and touches leaving lasting marks. The project manager was hands on in choosing a contemporary color palette that would make for easier upkeep for their cleaning crews. CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Interior commercial projects contain their own set of challenges. Working in a busy retail commercial walkway meant keeping safety protocols in place and working in off-hours times. This allowed retailers to maintain their daily operations as our crew worked with minimal impact. The retailers in this area cater to families and children which had allowed for many messy and sticky fingers to get on the walls. We first had to clean that before moving on to painting.
CONDITIONS:
- Stress Fracture – The ceiling had a large stress fracture that needed repairing as part of this project.
- Messy walls – High touch and high traffic areas meant quite a few stains and marks on the walls.
- Outdated wainscoting – Outdated wooden wainscoting required special attention to update and paint.
- Damaged walls – Patches were applied before painting could start to give the wall a pristine finish.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Prep – Clean and prep the wall surface for coating, cleaning stained areas and repairing any damage.
- Coat – The equipment and lines were masked and the floor was professionally coated.

Josh moved to Colorado be in a place where he could enjoy spending almost every weekend outside. During the winters you can find Josh now skiing down his favorite mountains, although never having skied before moving to Colorado. During the summers Josh loves to go hiking, camping, and enjoys spending time with his friends at live music events.
