Rebranding Project by CertaPro Painters®
In September 2020, Foothills Community Church started its rebranding process to become Revive Church. Part of the rebranding process was a new coat of paint on the roof that added a darker hue to the structure. CertaPro Painters® of Castle Rock, CO was contacted to complete the color change, add a brand new look to the church.
The project consisted of over 5,000 square feet of metal roofing. This included overhangs and parapet walls surrounding the church. The rebranding not only provoked a color change to the property but also allowed CertaPro Painters® to address sections that were rusting, bare, and peeling so the roofing looked brand new.
REVIVE CHURCH REBRANDING
Challenges
The rebranding of any facility is painstaking work. With a new name and appearance, it’s important for everything to look professional and clean. CertaPro Painters® needed proper communication among the team members to ensure the absence of missteps as they repainted the church roofing.
An additional hurdle for the roof painting was the height. CertaPro’s professionals used harnesses to combat the hard to reach areas of the roofing so all sections were uniformly painted.
CONDITIONS
- Peeling and Bubbling Paint – The paint on the roof was peeling and bubbling, and was even bare in some areas
- Rusted Sections – Some of the exposed metal had rusted due to lack of protection from the elements
- Rough Edges – The metal roofing had unsafe edges that needed to be grinded down
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Preparation – CertaPro Painters® grinded down old paint lips and rough edges, then used a rust inhibitive primer on areas of bare metal
- Painting – The CertaPro team then applied 2 coats of direct to metal SherCryl paintProject Timeline – 3 days

Before the project began CertaPro Painters® of Castle Rock, CO took pictures of the old branding and colors of the church. The project would require a complete change to the exterior of the building.

After the project was complete, CertaPro Painters® gathered images of the rebranding efforts, giving Revive Church a beautiful and professional looking fresh start!

Josh is originally from Indiana. He went to college at Indiana University in Bloomington majoring in both Marketing and Professional Sales. During his time at IU, he was actively involved with the second largest student-run fundraiser in the country supporting the local children’s hospital in Indianapolis. His previous work experience includes working at the 3rd largest insurance brokerage in the world, where he was able to get top of the line training in both sales and marketing.
Josh moved to Colorado be in a place where he could enjoy spending almost every weekend outside. During the winters you can find Josh now skiing down his favorite mountains, although never having skied before moving to Colorado. During the summers Josh loves to go hiking, camping, and enjoys spending time with his friends at live music events.
