CertaPro Painters of Calgary Pledges To Help Kids – Company’s 25th Anniversary and Commitment to Community Equals Win-Win
(Calgary, Alberta) – CertaPro Painters of Calgary & Central Alberta has made giving back to the community its mission. As a part of CertaPro Canada’s Childhood Wellness Initiative, and in celebration of CertaPro Painters’ 25th anniversary, the local CertaPro Painters of & Central Alberta has pledged to donate $25 from each job to either Ronald McDonald House (RHM) or Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids (BB4CK). Customers will then be able to choose which one of these charities will receive the donation from the proceeds of their paint job.
“Our goal is to bring awareness in hopes that individuals will choose to donate to these worthy causes,” says June Miller, who leads CertaPro Calgary’s initiative.
RHM and BB4CK are organizations who serve children in need. Ronald McDonald House Charities® Southern Alberta, is a home away from home for families travelling to Calgary for their child’s medical treatment. Built in 2007, they currently offer 23 private family suites, a communal kitchen, play areas for children, home-style living rooms and programming for all ages. BB4CK is a charity that partners with Calgary schools to ensure that healthy lunches are provided to students who would otherwise go hungry. Over 3,200 lunches are made and delivered daily to Calgary schools by volunteers working from community groups or BB4CK’s downtown kitchen.
“The importance of giving back to the community and helping children and families has been CertaPro Painters of Calgary’s ongoing mission,” adds Miller. “We are proud to partner with these worthy causes and help make a difference in people’s lives.”
