Brodie is a Montana native, originally from Missoula and finding his way over to Bozeman in 2004. His start in customer service began at age 9 delivering newspapers and by 14 he had racked up multiple service award trips to various travel hot spots. He earned a degree in Business Administration from The University of Montana (Go Griz!) and went on to launch a successful 12 year career as owner/operator and respected dog-whisperer for Invisible Fence Brand across southwest Montana.
After selling his company, Brodie spent several years working in International purchasing, logistics and finance. Additionally, he did learn to fly an airplane and someday hopes to purchase a plane of his own. In 2020 he decided that going back into business ownership and helping local residents with their home service projects was the right path forward. Delivering exceptional service in a field not known for great service is what attracted Brodie into launching the first CertaPro Painters franchise in Montana.
An important aspect of being a small business owner in the community is serving others. Brodie loves to support local organizations that help individuals grow and provide resources when needs arise. Consistently offering ways to donated financially and physically to the Montana Food Bank, the HRDC or the Warming Center, and several other local organizations that impact individuals and families is one of Brodie’s goals for supporting the areas he serves. Additionally, ensuring that his painters and their family’s are successful, feel like they have security and are highly supported in their profession is very important to Brodie’s leadership and a driving force for the “why” he does this job every day.
Outside of work, Brodie enjoys the thrills of raising his young & busy family. His wife Melanie is a tireless and passionate elementary education teacher in the Bozeman district. They have three children Olen “Ole”, Bowen, and Cali who are very active in all things involving a ball that gets kicked into a soccer net. The Bergeson family enjoys an occasional big journey to somewhere exciting, skiing at various Montana mountains, 4×4 trails, back-country camping, mountain biking, visiting family on Flathead Lake and an occasional rodeo.
