In June 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Boulder and Longmont completed a municipal facilities maintenance project for the Town of Erie, Colorado, serving multiple Boulder County community locations. Partnering with the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department, our commercial team restored 40 municipal trash receptacles across three major public facilities — the Ballpark at Erie, Erie Community Park, and the Leon A. Wurl Service Center.
This large-scale, multi-location project showcased our expertise in municipal coordination, industrial-grade coatings, and compliance with RFP-based government specifications. Each site required careful scheduling to minimize disruption to the public while ensuring every receptacle was fully restored for long-term durability in Colorado’s challenging climate.

Industrial-Grade Restoration – All 40 trash receptacles received complete surface preparation and industrial coating application using Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial systems specifically designed for heavy-use municipal applications. Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Universal Primer and Pro Industrial Waterbased Alkyd Urethane was used to deliver superior protection, weather resistance, and extended service life.
Custom Color Applications – At the Ballpark at Erie and Erie Community Park, receptacles received a professional black finish to maintain consistent branding throughout public areas. The Leon A. Wurl Service Center featured a custom Florentine Blue color scheme to match existing facility designs.
