A 65,000 square foot shopping center in Wilmington, DE required an exterior refresh to modernize its appearance, improve curb appeal, and create a cohesive, updated look for tenants and visitors.

The project involved a 65,000 sq ft shopping center located in Wilmington, DE.
2.) What did the project consist of? How long did it take and were there any special requirements?
The project included comprehensive exterior surface preparation and painting across multiple buildings within the shopping center. Work began with power washing all structures to properly clean and prepare surfaces. Special equipment was required to safely and efficiently access all areas of the property, including 85-foot and 40-foot boom lifts, a rough terrain scissor lift, and a water trailer. Sherwin Williams helped to create mock up photos of the finished product. Sherwin Williams was also able to provide a scope of work and spec to standardize bidding in order to come in under budget. Powerwashing buildings in the shopping center. Priming and painting to EIFS/stucco and Fypon/plastic walls, man doors and frames.
