Project Overview:
CertaPro Painters of Blue Bell, PA, were tasked with painting several schools within the Hatboro-Horsham School District.

Project Details:

Scope: The project’s primary focus was painting a stairwell in the school gym. This encompassed hand railings, stringers, and baseboards. An additional aspect of the project involved adding a fresh coat to the balcony floor in the gym.

Condition Pre-Project: Prior to the commencement of work, the gym’s stairwell showed signs of wear and tear typical of a frequently used facility.

Duration: The project began in mid-July and spanned across a couple of weeks, covering multiple schools schools.

Special Challenges & Equipment:

Preparation: The floor required grinding prior to applying the 2-part epoxy, ensuring the paint adhered properly and lasted longer.
Clearances: Given the sensitive nature of school environments, CertaPro Painters had to obtain special clearances including child clearances, fingerprints, and background checks. This step was crucial in maintaining the trust and safety protocols upheld by the school district.
