Arch Street Meeting House in Philadelphia, PA required interior painting services to refresh its expansive 5,320-square-foot space while preserving the character of the nation’s oldest and largest continuously active Quaker meeting house.
1.) Describe the building/facility (size, usage, location)
Arch Street Meeting House is a 5,320 sq. ft. facility located at 320 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19106.
2.) What did the project consist of? How long did it take and were there any special requirements?
The project consisted of preparation, skim coating, priming, and painting of the theater and middle room within the facility. Scope included painting the walls, wainscoting, radiators, windows and window frames, spindles, railings, stair stringers, doors, and door frames. The work was completed within a strict timeframe. Originally planned as a single project, it ultimately expanded into three phases. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products were used throughout.
