Miguel has worked with CertaPro Painters of Atlanta since 2013, when he started as a Job Site Supervisor. It very quickly became clear that his talents were many with a like-able personality and a depth of knowledge in carpentry, painting, and drywall. It was not very long before he promoted to a position as Residential Sales Associate(RSA), working with CertaPro customers to write scope-of-work and plans for their upcoming projects. In his first year he received multiple nominations for awards as a high integrity producer at CertaPro. After working as a Senior RSA Miguel was able to reach his goal to work as the Residential Sales Manager. After successfully onboarding and coaching RSAs he now serves as CertaPro of Atlanta’s Residential Vice President. His focus the Residential Vice President is to coach and support the Sales and Production team to consistently deliver not only a paint job but a great experience to each CertaPro Customer.
Miguel spent his youth growing up in Houston, Texas. His family gave him an early introduction to the trades. Working for his family business as a carpenter and painter gave him a strong hand’s-on background for later becoming an estimator for CertaPro Painters. Strengthening his knowledge of the trades even further, he gained work as a draftsman, drawing floor plans for painting, drywall, and remodeling companies.
He has been living in GA since 1999. He graduated from South Cobb High School in 2002. Today he spends his weekends and evenings with wife Erin Delaney Gaytan chasing after their 2 children Milo and Luna.
Personally, he is an avid reader who likes to entertain family and friends with cook-outs. He loves to play soccer and engage in new experiences.
