Jeremy Rhett, the owner of CertaPro Painters of Atlanta, started painting at age 19 as a campus painter at James Madison University while working on his Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in music. After his Junior Year in college he started a residential painting business in Fairfax, Virginia to earn money to fund his education.
After graduating from JMU in 1994 he moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in contracting, working with low-voltage electrical contractor Suntech Systems as Project Manager, Estimator, and Sales Manager for their Engineered Systems new commercial construction division.
Since 2001, he has enjoyed operating an award-winning office of CertaPro Painters.
He lives in Decatur with his wife, Jen, and their 3 children. He is also an amateur musician who plays guitar and sings for the best all-dad-garage-band in the land, The Tiger Kings.
