Meet Angie – From Wall Street to Your Street, She’s Ready to Help Beautify the Community
Angie is a veteran of NBD. This does not mean ‘No Big Deal,’ although that’s certainly a worthy motto for moving through life. No, NBD is short for the National Bank of Detroit, now more commonly known as Chase. She met her husband while working in the Bank Investment division of NBD and they have been happily married since 1991. Angie and her husband are the proud parents of twins in their senior year of college. One is a Wolverine (Angie’s alma mater) and the other is a Spartan. Somehow they maintain peace in the family in spite of the heated rivalry.
The Key to Success — in painting or foreign exchange trading — is Customer Service
Having spent the last seven years in retail sales, Angie wholeheartedly believes the key to success lies in listening to customers’ needs and providing excellent customer service. This has always been her strategy for achieving professional goals. During her time as a stockbroker and then in foreign exchange trading, she worked with business executives to help them hedge their exposure when buying and selling products internationally. This involved gaining customers’ trust and developing strong relationships.
From Customer to Colleague
Upon learning about the Office Manager position at this franchise, and Jennifer’s philosophy regarding work-life balance, Angie was sold. In addition, Angie and her husband used CertaPro Painters® to paint the exterior of their first house.
