Kitchen Cabinet Painting In Sanford
CHALLENGES:
Our team was hired to repaint the kitchen cabinets in a clients home. The cabinets were previously painted brown and had lots of texture from the previous paint job.
Our most significant challenge was time management. We needed to complete this project within five days to ensure the client could use their kitchen again by the weekend.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
To get started, we removed the cabinet doors and sanded both sides of these doors, as well as the cabinet boxes, to reduce some of the texture.
We then set up a spray booth on-site to ensure a uniform application of paint on the cabinet doors. Next, we primed the cabinets to prevent any brown paint from bleeding through. Lastly, we applied two coats of urethane acrylic enamel using a fine fish low pressure (FFLP) spray technique.
PROJECT TIMELINE
We completed the project in 5 days.
THE FINAL RESULTS
A beautiful bright new kitchen that the client loved!
