Ken Moldenhauer has a life time of diverse leadership and business experience.
Mr. Moldenhauer was raised on a diversified cattle and farming operation in southeast Kansas. In addition to being a farmer, his father was also a carpenter. Ken helped his dad on many construction projects including building the house in which his parents retired. He earned his BS in Animal Science /Ag Education and a Master’s Degree in Ag Education from Kansas State University.
Ken has nearly 30 years of protein industry Human Resources leadership experience. Starting his career with Cargill Beef in Dodge City, KS, he held various leadership roles while at Cargill, including Learning and Development of Hourly and Management Training Programs, Talent Development, Performance Consulting and Human Resource Management.
As Vice President of Human Resources for Cargill Beef, Mr. Moldenhauer led a team of 300 HR professionals to serve 18,000 employees at 24 locations in the U.S. and Canada. As a member of the Beef Leadership Team at Cargill, he worked with business leaders to effectively align and support the business strategy.
Ken is known for his ability to simplify complex issues and explain them in a way that others can easily understand.
Mr. Moldenhauer purchased the CertaPro Wichita East franchise business from Jamie and Jorge Ibarra in May of 2018. He is excited about the opportunity to use his leadership, business and construction experience to serve CertaPro’s customers.
Ken gives back to his community by utilizing his professional leadership skills to help manage complex issues. Mr. Moldenhauer has served as the Board Chair for Sedgwick County Extension and on the Kansas State Advisory Committee for the State of Kansas Research and Extension.
Ken lives near Valley Center, KS with his wife Marcine and daughter MacKenzie. Together they enjoy Kansas State Football, traveling and MacKenzie’s multiple 4-H projects, including rising and showing home raised club calves, heifers and bulls.
