In February 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Western Chester County partnered with Toftrees Clubhouse in State College, PA, to refresh their interior spaces with professional painting and drywall repair. Clubhouses are the heart of many communities, and this project aimed to ensure residents and guests felt welcomed in a clean, well-maintained environment.
The clubhouse needed a comprehensive refresh while minimizing downtime, so our team worked efficiently to complete the project in just five days. One of the most challenging aspects was repairing extensive drywall tape issues on the 23-foot-high ceilings in the fitness room, requiring precision and care to achieve a seamless finish. To handle the height safely, we utilized a rented lift, allowing our team to repair and paint the ceiling efficiently while maintaining quality. This project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality commercial painting services that enhance community spaces without disrupting daily operations.

Scope of Work: Interior painting and standard drywall repair throughout the clubhouse, including common areas and the fitness room.
Challenges Addressed: The fitness room ceiling had significant drywall tape failures requiring extensive repair before painting. The ceiling height of 23 feet added complexity, necessitating careful application to ensure a smooth, durable finish while protecting surrounding equipment and flooring.
Equipment & Techniques Used: A lift was rented to safely access and repair the high ceilings, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. We used commercial-grade coatings for durability in high-traffic areas, applied with precision to maintain a clean, welcoming appearance for residents and guests.
Outcome: The project was completed on schedule with minimal disruption to clubhouse activities, transforming the interior into a refreshed, modern, and inviting environment that residents can enjoy year-round.
