Recreational Facility – Pool House Rejuvenation

Project: Exterior renovation of Pool House Cedar Shingles at Orienta Beach Club, a private facility in Mamaroneck NY

Process: The CertaPro team prepared all cedar shingle elements with a low-pressure wash to both clean and brighten.  Extra care is taken to avoid causing any damage to shingles and to site protect all landscaping.  Extensive stain sampling was provided to ensure colors would consistently meet client approval. Each board was then individually hand-stained to achieve uniform and cohesive coverage.

Product Used: Zinser JoMaxx siding cleaner and mildew remover, Benjamin Moore Arborcoat semi-solid exterior stain.

Results: Client needed their pool house refreshed prior to their opening day. The combination of cleaning, preparation and staining performed delivered a beautiful and uniform finish in the desired color that will last for seasons to come, on budget and on time.
